about me

This blog belongs to me, Jason Fowler. I am an archives and special collections librarian who has some systems librarian responsibilities. I know, it seems like an odd mix. This blog is about libraries, archives, and computers, and it basically gives me a way to keep track of some of my thoughts on all these things. Additionally, by posting brief book reviews (actually, more like book summaries) I keep up with the content of the books that I am reading.

I am also a Christian, more specifically, a Baptist. I am a husband to my beautiful wife Michele, and we have a min-pin who has started listening to bluegrass. In my spare time, I like watching University of South Carolina sports, especially football. I also like fishing, and if I ever finish this never ending process called education, I'm going again.
